MMA

Mixed Martial Arts: This is a full contact combat sports class that includes a variety of traditional and non-traditional martial arts fighting techniques.

Boxing

This class offers an entire body workout. You are taught the basic skills of boxing, which include; footwork, punches and patterns of movement. Not only do you get a full cardiovascular workout, but you build strength, endurance and flexibility.

Kickboxing

This is the perfect class to tone muscles and increase your fitness level. It also offers a full body cardiovascular workout. The goal of this class is to train you in efficiency through accurate kicks and precise punches. During this class, there is a combination of conditioning exercises; push-ups, sit-ups, punching and air kicking.

Muay Thai Boxing

This art is referred to as "the art of eight limbs" because of its use of the eight points of contact; punches, kicks, elbow strikes, knee strikes, stances, grappling and head butts. This class places an emphasis on those points of contact and helps you develop power, speed core and functional strength.

Tu Jitsu (Takedown/Grappling)

This art is built on the same principles of Jiu-Jitsu. In this variation, combatants do not wear the traditional kimono; therefore there are slight modifications to compensate for the inability to hold your opponent by their clothing. This class focuses on submission, holds, ground fighting and clinch fighting with the overall goal of obtaining control techniques.

Judo

This art was developed from the art of Jiu-Jitsu. This class is designed to be a sport rather than a form of self defense. Known for being "the gentle way", the lethal techniques and strikes of Jiu-Jitsu have been omitted from this discipline. In this class, you are taught the techniques that would enable you to force your opponent to submit by grappling, joint locking of the elbows, executing a choke and various strikes and thrusts.

No-Gi Judo

This class was inspired by our very own Sensei Mark Yehia, founder of Elite Plus Fitness. The concepts and practice of Judo remain in addition to submission. Without the traditional gear some techniques have been omitted while new techniques were designed to force your opponent into submission.
